Would it be a problem getting a BBL after Covid vaccine?

Hi, thanks for your question. The vaccine is absolutely not a problem for your surgery and it is totally safe to have surgery after being vaccinated. There are no contraindications when it comes to surgical procedures and the Covid vaccine. In your case you have also been vaccinated long before your surgery date, and any rare or adverse side effects of the vaccine would likely already have presented themselves. Every clinic has different protocols but most clinics will require you to have a negative test result prior to surgery, which you're more likely to have if you've had both doses of the vaccine. If you're still concerned, don't hesitate to speak to your surgeon.

if you didn't have any complications after vaccination, then you should be able to get a surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

As long as you are healthy and a good surgical candidate it should be fine for you to proceed with your surgery as planned in August. Having the COVID vaccine should not negatively impact your surgical plans. Your surgeon will review your medical history and discuss any concerns you have during an in person consultation for your procedure.

Getting vaccinated it was the right thing to do.

Not getting vaccinated would’ve been selfish and inappropriate.
