How long should I expect my results to last? Will I need to follow a specific routine or have ocassional touch ups to maintain clear skin?

Aviclear targets the skin oil glands which are the basic cause of acne, so Aviclear can give a long lasting remission which is desirable. At the same time to maximize the result, patients are better to follow an anti-inflammatory anti-acne diet and apply special type of retinol or retinoic acid creams to revitalize skin surface. It prevents pore clogging and blockage of oil glands channels it ensures the greatest possible treatment result overall.
Most of patients don’t need any touch up session.

AviClear laser treatment can be an option for managing acne, it is likely not going to be permanent or will require many sessions to become a more permanent solution.

There is a more permanent acne laser, called Accure. I have seen a significant reduction in acne with my own patients and less new acne forming. From my experience, it works much more efficiently compared to AviClear which means less frequency of treatments and better results per session. And, there is virtually no downtime. It is painless and works on all skin types.

What makes Accure really stand out is its reduction of oil production by targeting sebaceous glands. Less oil means less acne and the results should be near permanent.

While Accure can be a great solution to acne, I always recommend a consultation with a board-certified practitioner to choose the best treatment based on your individual needs.

AviClear is a new FDA approved device for acne treatment and current research has only concluded that results are lasting two years. It is not to say that results only lasts two years, it simply means that research has only studied it for two years, however, it is predicted to last longer.
