How long should I expect my results to last? Will I need to follow a specific routine or have ocassional touch ups to maintain clear skin?
Answer: Aviclear can give permanent results? Hello, Aviclear targets the skin oil glands which are the basic cause of acne, so Aviclear can give a long lasting remission which is desirable. At the same time to maximize the result, patients are better to follow an anti-inflammatory anti-acne diet and apply special type of retinol or retinoic acid creams to revitalize skin surface. It prevents pore clogging and blockage of oil glands channels it ensures the greatest possible treatment result overall. Most of patients don’t need any touch up session. Answer: I'd recommend Accure AviClear laser treatment can be an option for managing acne, it is likely not going to be permanent or will require many sessions to become a more permanent solution. There is a more permanent acne laser, called Accure. I have seen a significant reduction in acne with my own patients and less new acne forming. From my experience, it works much more efficiently compared to AviClear which means less frequency of treatments and better results per session. And, there is virtually no downtime. It is painless and works on all skin types. What makes Accure really stand out is its reduction of oil production by targeting sebaceous glands. Less oil means less acne and the results should be near permanent. While Accure can be a great solution to acne, I always recommend a consultation with a board-certified practitioner to choose the best treatment based on your individual needs. Hope this helps you find relief from your acne! Please reach out if you have any questions!

Answer: So far AviClear treatments from clinical studies have over 2 year success recovery rate Cutera laser has reported several cases treated during the initial clinical studies prior to the FDA approval sever cases that have great success and improvement with AviClear. As an owner of the first teen medspa in Newport years ago I learned that It is important to keep acne under control with a good cleansing regimen and early treatments serums to avoid spread and to do hormonal checks as needed. Most of my patients report after the Aviclear 3 treatments the acne is reduced to minimal with outbreaks that my occur around hormonal or menstrual times. For that reason we continue to treat with laser genesis a less expensive laser that can keep acne under check while treating the residual scaring. See long term results posted the last two patients are about 2 years reported clear by Cutera the Aviclear manifacter.

Answer: AviClear and long lasting results The results of AviClear have been shown to be equal to Accutane if not better. We are seeing improvements in acne continuing after 12 months of treatment with no increase in acne flares or returning to baseline. It is a long lasting and effective treatment. You can continue on your current medications if desired or stop medications all together. At The G Spa, SF you will be followed during this medical procedure by Dr. Grenier to discuss your treatment and make decisions together on which medications and skin care routine to keep or stop. At this point, touch ups are not necessary. AviClear is the BEST and safest option currently to treat all acne types without side effects from medications.
