Im rather confused about the literature on Aviclear. Various interviews with practicioners say that the effect of Aviclear can last up to two years. However, if the laser permanently damages the oil glands why would these start to produce sebum again after two years? Or are new glands likely to form? Or is this because the clinical trials only happened two years ago therefore it isnt known what happens after those two years?
I have very oily skin as well as black heads and excess sebum. This is mainly in my nose and T - Zone area. I have never had bad acne and will occasionally have a pimple or two. I read that this treatment is good for excess sebum. Would AviClear be beneficial for me or should I consider another option?
I have been off accutane for a month now and am looking for other options to treat my severe and stubborn acne. How long should I wait before moving forward with AviClear? Are there any side effects that might affect me due to my prior use of Accutane?
My job requires for me to spend a decent amount of time outside. I was planning on returning to work right after my session of AviClear. How long would be an optimal wait tine before going back out into the sun? Will sun exposure affect my results?
I'm 33-year-old man who suffers from cystic acne. I've had a beard consistently since I was 19, and don't see myself being clean-shaven any time in the future. If I were to undergo treatment with the Aviclear laser, would I have to shave? And if I were to treat hair-growing areas, will there be any negative effect on hair growth or density? I know that certain lasers are used to discourage hair growth in unwanted areas.
I am one year post Aviclear and two months postpartum. I finished it in October and got pregnant in January. I noticed my skin was much less oily and less breakouts only whiteheads here and there whereas before I would get hormonal acne so I am now two months postpartum and noticed my skin got a bit more oily, and some whiteheads emerging more often. I am wondering if pregnancy and postpartum affects Aviclear results and if so, would I benefit from more sessions to maintain the results?
