Hi, Thank you for your question regarding whether silicone can be removed from your butt with laser. The answer is "no". Silicone can not be removed from your butt with laser alone. Laser is just a source of light. You may be referring to laser liposuction, where there is laser at the end of the liposuction tube or cannula. During laser liposuction, your plastic surgeon can see the tip of the liposuction cannula under the skin during the operation. In my experience, laser liposuction does not help too much. In my opinion, the best treatment to remove silicone from the buttocks is using intra-operative ultra-sound guided, VASER assisted, liposuction. During this procedure, the silicone and scar tissue is identified with the ultrasound. The silicone and scar is melted with the VASER. Then, the scar tissue and silicone are removed with liposuction. I hope that I have answered your questions regarding removing silicone from the butt with laser and liposuction. Before you make any decisions regarding removing the silicone from the butt, I would suggest you seek consultation with an expert. Please seek an experienced, board-certified, plastic surgeon. Travel out of state if you must to find such an expert. If you have any more questions regarding a silicone removal with laser or liposuction, or plastic surgery in general, please contact my office. Hi Bebe,I've treated hundreds of patients with silicone in the buttocks including many revisionary procedures on those who have attempted removal via liposuction or laser liposuction. What I have seen to be true is that the only effective and safe method to remove this product is via an open surgery. I wish you the best in your search for treatment!- Dr. Nik
Silicone in the buttocks and soft tissue can cause inflammatory reactions. Our office specializes in the management of Karamanoukian Grade I-IV reaction in the soft tissue using minimally-invasive means. The first step is to identify the grade of soft tissue reaction and determine whether the tissue can withstand surgery. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianRealself100 Surgeon
Unfortunately, you cannot remove Silicone Butt Injections with a laser. When silicone is injected, it spreads through the tissues of your buttocks. There is NO WAY to remove just silicone. Usually the way to remove some of the silicone volume is Liposuction. Unfortunately, this will remove some of your own fat as well. You cannot ever have it all removed. The safest way to enhance your butt is BBL.
Hi there and thank you for your question. The illicit free silicone biopolymer injections are a non-FDA regulated and non-FDA approved injectable material, so unlike hyaluronic facial filler injections (like Restylane or Juvederm) there are no real studies on the lifetime of the product once...
Hi Faithful,I'm sorry to hear everything you've been through. I have seen many cases in my practice similar to yours. If you were consulting with me, I'd start with ordering an MRI to determine the nature of any remaining product. You could benefit from another open removal and reconstruction. I...
