If you look a little further outside of the city, you can find excellent surgeons with lower fees due to lower overhead. In Spartanburg, about an hour south of you, we charge 5000 for silicone and 6300 for "gummies". With this in mind, it is usually not wise to try to find the "cheapest" doctor. Look at before and after pictures, as well as online reviews.Good Luck!
Breast augmentation will vary depending on the implant type, region and surgeon but I think you will find that the cost is usually in the $5800 - $8000 range. Saline implants are considerably less expensive than cohesive silicone gel. Even with silicone implants the different types have their own pricing.
In Charlotte NC different office charge different fees depending on the type of implant, type of anesthesia and experience of the surgeon. That is code for how good they think they are. Our fees range from $5300 for saline implants to ~$7500 for the gummy bear implants. This would be done in our facility going home the same day. Good luck.
Thanks for the question. When it comes to costs of surgery, there may be many “variables” involved. The specific surgeon's credentials/experience level (or lack thereof), the specific geographic area you are looking at, the different operations available, the location of the procedure (quality of surgery facility), type/quality of anesthesia provider, type of breast implants… are some of the potential variables involved. You will find some average costs of surgery listed on this website and on individual plastic surgeons' websites as well.In regards to outcome of the planned procedure, more important than costs of the procedures will be careful selection of your plastic surgeon. I would suggest starting with the American Society of Plastic Surgery and/or the Aesthetic Society of Plastic Surgery to obtain a list of well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons. Then, I would suggest you visit a few surgeons whose practices concentrate on aesthetic surgery. Ask to see lots of examples of their work and preferably speak/see patients who have had similar procedures done.Be very careful with your decision-making. You will find, while doing your due diligence, that there are many different “specialties” who will offer their services to you; again, I strongly recommend you concentrate on surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.Again, I would also suggest that you do not base your selection of plastic surgeon primarily on costs of surgery; keep in mind that revisionary surgery may be more costly in many ways. You may find the attached link helpful as you learn more. Best wishes.
Realself has listings of fees paid for breast augmentation in your area. These are not specific in that you won't be able to tell whether the patient had least expensive saline implants or most expensive shaped cohesive gel implants. In may area the fees range from about $6000 to about $9000. Best wishes.
Generally silicone implants cost $2200, the facility fee and surgeon fee with vary depending on the physician. I recommend finding a board certified plastic surgeon in your area and discuss your budget, but unlike other commodities, surgery is really not something you should shoot for the lowest price because likely there is a reason for it so be careful.
There are some variables when asking about the price of breast augmentation. For example, do you want saline or silicone implants? If you chose silicone, do you want the round implants or the anatomic ("teardrop") shape? All these have different prices so it would be best to see a PS to get an exact quote. Having said that, I would strongly encourage you not to shop around for the lowest price. Do you shop for the lowest price for a haircut? Probably not, unless you don't care what your hair looks like. So, unless you don't care about the quality of your breast aug, then it stands to reason that you shouldn't look for the cheapest deal. It's far more important to get a surgeon who does good work and you feel comfortable talking with them about your goals and desires. If your surgeon won't talk to you, then your chances of getting the final look you want is slim.
