There are many common sites for lipo incisions, but there is variation from surgeon to surgeon. Ask your surgeon for specific details on his or her preferences.

Personally, I place my incisions low so they are hidden on the front and I use the coccyx /gluteal midline crease for waist from the back.An exam and consultation with a plastic surgeon is recommended to discuss your options and expectations. 

The incisions are very small and typically located in the pubic area and then hidden in the panty line between the hip in the flank  There is usually one inside the belly button as well

The main thing is that the incisions have to be placed in an area that the cannula can reach the fatty areas you’re wishing to eliminate. Luckily, the scars are typically very small to begin with and will almost completely fade as you heal-- this is definitely something your surgeon can work with you on.
