My stomach is hard as a rock after Lipo (Photo)

Question

I’m trying not to stress as im only 2 weeks post Laser Lipo- however my stomach upper and lower is so hard I’m still bruised- is all this hardness normal??? I read a lot on swelling but I don’t see much on hardness.

You have some swelling, which may last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease any swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Thank you for your question and posting your pictures. By 2 weeks time you should be seeing your surgeon for follow-up and this is a question they should be able to address. It is not unusual to experience areas of hardness following this procedure. Following any form of liposuction, all of my patients have lymphatic massage and treatments with Venus Legacy and acoustic wave therapy. This is very helpful in the patient's recovery and allows us to reassess them and deal with any of their concerns. Compression garments are also important 23 hours/day with reassessment at 2 weeks.
