How to sit at a desk chair comfortably after Laser lipo on upper/lower abs, waist and hips.

Question

I had laser lipo yesterday morning (upper/lower abs, waist and hips) and am planning to go back to work tomorrow afternoon. I have an office job so I’m mainly sitting all day at a desk. Right now it hurts to sit up straight, so I was hoping to get any tricks on ways to find comfort while sitting on a desk chair. Thank you!

I worry that you are pushing things too quickly and returning to work less than 48 hours after surgery is concerning.  I do not permit my patients to drive that soon after surgery.  As many patients are still taking pain meds, I don't encourage them to be in an office setting where they need to make business decisions.  I think that you would be better off calling out and giving yourself adequate time to recover.  Whether in the office or not, many patients find the sitting position uncomfortable.  Good compression can help, as well as some stretching and frequent short strolls.  Best of luck with your recovery.

You have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling and improve comfort. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Thank you for your question. It sounds as though you are pushing things to return to work. I usually recommend taking 3-5 days off following liposuction of any form. Frequent lymphatic massages will help to reduce your swelling and discomfort.
