One breast implant is sitting lower than the other (Photo)

Question

Originally, I asked a question about potentially having CC (330cc silicone under) and I asked if my implant sitting lower on one side is normal or not and it appears that it may not be normal. I already have an appt with my PS on Thursday, but I'm curious to know if this is normal if my breast sat lower pre-operatively. Could the implant sit lower because my breast was already lower than the other? Is my implant too heavy for the pocket? No pre-op photo, but a photo one week post-op.

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  Though there is not an image of your breasts prior to your procedure it does appear that your implants have settled too low on your chest (bottomed out).  This is more evident on the left side than the right.  If this does not bother you nothing additional needs to be done but if you would like to correct this it will require a revision breast procedure.  Hope this helps.

Yes, if your breast had a lower fold on one side, then it is very likely that the one breast will sit lower post-op and long term as well.

Thank you for your question.  The left breast implant has definitely bottomed out and you will need a surgical procedure to reconstruct the fold under your breast and lift the implant.  If you do have that revision and you wish to have more fullness above the nipple on both sides the right breast could be adjusted at the same procedure.  To learn more please read below:
