Is this an area of fat that was missed with lipo? Or is this truly an area the doctor said was “trauma” to the body/lymphatic?

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. Unfortunately without before images to compare  to it is difficult to weigh in on this area of fullness.  Typically based on feel, especially after 8 months, it should be identifiable whether this is residual fat that MAY be improved with additional liposuction, or another cause such as fluid collection or swelling.  Typically after 8 months most swelling has fully resolved for gynecomastia patients.

Based on your post/pictures, it is difficult to assess the cause of your condition. Whether the prominent area is actually due to your lymphatics or a deposit of fat or some other cause can only be determined with a physical exam. You should schedule an appointment with your plastic surgeon so that he/she can address your concerns, examine you, and develop a plan of care. Best of luck!

it may still be some residual swelling and inflammation. Also it is very minor. i would give it at least 6-12 months more and then if it is still there and if it feels soft, you could consider doing some type of liposuction on it.david berman md
