Hi @bettyeddins! Neuromodulators like Dysport or Botox in combination with hyaluronic acid dermal fillers like Juvederm can be an effective treatment to smooth out the 11 lines. I recommend seeking treatments from expert injectors who have the skill and experience to precisely inject fillers into treatment areas and avoid risks and complications. Best of Luck, Dr. Nima!
Thank you for your question. The 11s, also known as glabellar lines, are dynamic wrinkles that form as a result of certain facial expressions. Dynamic wrinkles respond best to neuromodulators like Botox or Dysport, which work by relaxing the facial muscles that form the creases. For deep glabellar lines, a combination of a neuromodulator and dermal filler like Juvederm may be recommended. However, this procedure requires a great deal of precision and expertise to perform safely and correctly. Make sure your injector has the experience and qualifications to produce the best possible results for you.
Botox in combination with Juvederm filler can be a very effective treatment to smooth out the "11" lines. As this is a high risk area for complications it is imperative to use an experienced injector !
Hi, thanks for your question. You'll probably get better results from Botox, Dysport or a similar neuromodulator for your glabellar lines as opposed to filler. Neuromodulators will block the signals from the nerves to the muscles in the area preventing them from creating those lines giving you a smoother and softer look. I highly recommend that you book an in person consultation with a registered and experienced injector in order to explore all of your options.
Your "eleven lines" appear be in a state of static tension (i.e. tight even at rest) & the skin appears to be quite creased. Ideally both aspects of the muscular activity and the skin creases would need to be treated to achieve optimal smoothing. Botox can be used to calm the underlying muscular overactivity in the region that is responsible for these lines in the first place, and filler (I prefer Belotero Balance for this location) would help to elevate and smooth the creases and lines that have already etched the skin after years of daily muscular expression (frowning, scowling). Both treatments may be done in the same session if desired or in two separate treatment sessions. Hope this helps. Best of luck.
Thank you for sharing your question and photograph. It appears that a combination of Botox and filler would offer the best outcome. The botox will help prevent the 11’s from worsening while the filler will help soften the static lines already present. Be sure to seek out a specialist in consultation for the best results.
Hello, and thank you for your inquiry! Filler is a good option for the resting lines in your 11. I would also recommend pairing the filler with Botox. You are creating those resting lines because you are making that angry face. The Botox will help prevent you from making that movement while the filler will fill in those resting lines.
Botox and fillers like Juvederm can be used to even out your face. You may ask for botox, fillers, and PDO. A combination of all may be attempted to contour your facial features. Please contact a qualified provider with extensive experience in these procedures.
This is a high risk area with possible risk of necrosis. There are arteries in this area that can be blocked by needle injection and cause your skin to loose blood flow. this can result in painful loss of healthy skin. With good technique and use of cannula the risk in reduced. I prefer Juviderm Vollure that is smooth and less swelling. Botox should be used to prevent movement of the filler.
It is getting injected into that area as an off label use and many people have been pleased with the results. The risks associated with injections in this area are significant and must be discussed at length prior to injection.
When performing aesthetic procedures, we wish to achieve the best results possible. While not necessarily harmful to inject Juvederm while on prednisone, it is probable best to avoid any possible complication (such as increased risk of bruising or infection). I would recommend waiting a couple...
Thank you for your question and I appreciate your concern. Yes, it is certainly possible to have more filler even if you still have a lump from a previous treatment. I encourage you to schedule a consultation with a very experienced, board-certified injector for further evaluation. If the lump...
Hi, thanks for your question. If the ulcer is on your lip you should wait until it has completely cleared before having a lip filler treatment. Don't hesitate to speak to your provider about this and any other questions or concerns that you might have.
