Mole removal under anesthesia?

Question

I want multiple moles removed off my body. I’ve had local anesthesia to remove several moles before but the process is tedious since my dermatologist will only remove two per visit. At this point I would rather just be put under anesthesia and have all the moles I want removed at one time. Is there even a doctor willing to do this? Context I am 22 and have over 200 moles on my body.

Mole removal begins with a comprehensive examination and consultation to determine the likelihood of a mole being worrisome. Excisional and incisional biopsies are reserved for suspicious moles. But it’s good news that most moles are not problematic and are only cosmetic, thus leading to the option of scarless or non-surgical mole removal with lasers and RF and plasma. Our office specializes in non-surgical mole removal.

I do not think that you will find a doctor to do this. General anesthesia carries risks not to mention would be very expensive and for sure not going to be covered by insurance. Not to mention benign mole removal is unnecessary. It is one thing to remove a few that are bothersome cosmetically due to location or they rub on clothes but quite another to remove over 200 moles. There is also the scarring risk. 
I would certainly encourage you to embrace them. They are a part of you and your genetics. Of course watch for changes and get them checked with your dermatologist.
