You should try to wait at least 3-4 months. Some patients will get a little ptosis after a cataract extraction from the lid speculum stretching the muscle. This will often resolve after a few months. If you have no ptosis you could do it sooner.
It is best to discuss with your ophthalmologist but in general, it is safe to undergo eyelid surgery about 3 months after cataract surgery although it could be done as early as 1 month.

We have successfully performed an upper and lower blepharoplasty many times after cataract surgery. It's probably best to wait at least 6 months to make sure all the swelling has subsided from cataract surgery before undergoing elective cosmetic eyelid surgery.
We perform surgery on many adults who have had previous cataract surgery and they do fine. One thing to be aware of, you can have some change in your refraction after eyelid surgery, depending on how severe the eyelids are before surgery. Anytime you change the position of the eyelid or weight of the eyelid, this can cause changes in the shape of the cornea. In most cases where this happens, just having your glasses changed after you are fully healed will correct any vision changes.
Lower blepharoplasty can increase dry eyes. This procedure should be done in a proper and conservative fashion, especially in patients that are over the age of 50 and/or if they have had previous cataract or Lasik surgery.
