I literally looked up everything from Cellulaze/Cellfina to Profound RF to endomology, QWO, BodyTite, BodyFX, CoolSculpting etc. All have very negative reviews, bad side effects and most people either say their cellulite got worse or no changes at all. In your practice, what methods have actually worked where you didnt have patients complain or become unsatisfied?
Answer: Improving Cellulite with Cellfina, QWO, Sculptra, Hyper-dilute Radiesse, Renuva; MNRF like Morpheus/Pixel8 Cellfina itself is the best treatment we have for cellulite but works best in combination with injections to build volume and collagen or fat such as Sculptra, or Bellafill, or Renuva fat injections; or a mix of both; as well as RF body treatments like Venus Legacy/Exilis Ultra/Inmode Forma. Shock therapy like Cellutone, ZWave and Gainswave EVIVE can also help but need to be performed every few weeks and maintained. A VASER HI DEF HD body sculpting surgical procedure can be done for more contouring and smoothing, if you're a candidate. If you have loose skin it would need to be surgically removed or internal heated with InMode BodyTite or Renuvion J plasma. Smooth nova threads, PDO threads or Silhouette Instalift maybe can help build collagen as well and improve the appearance. Cellulite can't be cured, but can be improved with treatments and maintenance. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. A combination approach always give the most improvement for cellulite. As you age, laxity is often the culprit so skin tightening procedures and muscular toning procedures are needed. If there is loose skin then you need: 1. Thigh lifting 2. Microneedling RF like morpheus8 or Pixel8 3. Muscular toning like EMsculpt, TrusculptFLEX, BodyTone 4. RF treatments like Venus legacy, Exilis Ultra, Inmode Forma 5. QWO injections for deep dimples and waves if you do not want surgery but are okay with multiple sessions with bruising between (if right candidate) 6. If there is volume issues with dimples and waves then you need Sculptra to build collage, Renuva to build fat, Dilute Radiesse, Bellafill or other fillers like Juvederm or Restylane to fill dimples and hip-dips and provide volume; Fat injections if doing a bigger liposuction procedures to give the buttock shaping and lifting (Brazilian butt lift. A formal consultation is needed to determine what combination is best. At home derma rolling should be started twice weekly to build collagen in these areas (see link to emeragecosmetics AERIFY x ANTEAGE derma-rolling protocol plus stem cell ampules). Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Cellulite treatments Hello and thank you for your question! The newest cellulite treatment on the market is a minimally invasive procedure called Aveli. Aveli uses a device beneath the skin to release the septa that is causing the cellulite dimple. We have a high satisfaction rate at our practice and use a solution to minimize bruising afterwards.

Answer: Personal Evaluation It's always best to be properly evaluated by your treating physician as to how much treatment you'll be having done, which one is right for you, and how far you will be traveling after any given treatment. Most patients are driving themselves to and from the treatment since there is no sedation being used for the treatment. Though most patients are safe to travel longer distances as early as day or two after Cellfina treatment for example. I find it most comforting that I can be accessible to my patients if they need me, and I find that most imperative within the first 48 hours after most treatments. Though the emergent risks following Cellfina are slim to none, despite best efforts, sometimes unforeseen events can occur (though rare). Waiting a minimum of at least 2-3 days before traveling is what I would recommend.

Answer: Avéli is a powerful solution for cellulite. Our practice is the first in Ohio to bring on Avéli for cellulite! As you said, not all cellulite treatments really provide quality results. We waited to find an effective method before offering anything to our patients. Avéli disconnects fibrous bands beneath the skin that create cellulite dimples. It's minimal-downtime and is completed in just one in-office treatment. Avéli truly corrects cellulite in the thighs and buttocks, which leaves our patients satisfied!
