Are these lipo burns on thigh and hips? 1 month post-op. (Photos)

I'm 4 wks & I have these marks on my medial thighs & one on my hip.They ones on my legs feel a Lil hard & lumpy but are smooth & sometimes itch a Lil. The one on my hip doesn't feel like nothing.

Thanks for the question, I see this from time to time in patients who have had laser or energy based liposuction especially on the inner thighs and arms. I presume its a rare vasculitis entity called erythema ab igne Luckily it almost always goes away on its own!

hello mommiesoso Most swelling and bruising will heal in the first 2 weeks, but can persist for up to 6-8 weeks. You should visit or contact your PS about this concern. #hips #thighs

Hello, thanks for your question, It seems that you're still swollen, and it is too soon from surgery by now, but besides that you should check with your surgeon. I don't see a problem by the pictures.
