Is it normal to not get your period after a surgery like liposuction?

I can't say it's fully connected with your operation. This might be because of your post-op psychological tension and I don't think you're pregnant. Your period will return to normal within 2-3 months. I wish you all the best.

It's possible that stress from the procedure has effected your hormones. If you remain concerned, I recommend following up with your Doctor. Any time your body goes under stress such as surgery/anesthesia, it can play a factor on our hormone levels thus causing irregular periods.  Give your body time to recover.  Follow up with your surgeon and OBGYN if your symptoms proceed.  Good luck.

 

Yes. Any kind of stress on the body (and surgery definitely counts as stress) can throw off your menstrual cycle. For now, don't worry. Things should return to normal as your body heals. If you don't get your period next month, contact your gynecologist. Best of luck.

I think anything is possible. The stress of a surgical procedure can affect hormone levels and may contribute to a missed period. Just give it time. Best wishes.
