Hi! It can take up to 6 months to see the final result. It takes approximately 6 months for collagen and elastin to grow and make the skin tighter. This procedure is a process and you may experience residual swelling for several months. If you have concerns talk to your surgeon. Best of luck to you!
Thanks for your question and sorry that you are having any concerns post Smart-Lipo. As always, we recommend that you have a consultation with a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon – someone who is an expert in liposuction and an expert in lasers. After the procedure is performed, one needs to know that there is swelling that can last up to a month in some cases, depending upon how much laser and how much liposuction was done. Also, most would recommend the use of compression garments and I hope that was done in your case too. After a month or so, the swelling subsides and over the course of the next 4-5 months, most of the skin tightening begins. Some like to use RF devices to boost this affect, and in your case, that may be a good thing to do. You need to speak to your provider, find out where things are, and proceed the best way to make the final outcome perfect. Best of luck.
It takes weeks and sometimes more than a month for both the swelling and especially the altered sensation of the treated areas to resolve and feel normal. Three weeks is too early to cause any concern. And once these issues resolve the ultimate tightening takes months to complete. So tincture of time at this point is what's required.
A chin implant with liposuction of the submental area and neck along with the jowls would be a reasonable option to avoid more involved surgery.
Thank you for your question and congratulations on your recent procedure. It's best to seek a follow up visit with your surgeon to discuss what you are experiencing and to ensure you are healing properly. Good luck and congratulations, again!
Hi! It can take up to six months to see the final result. If you have gained weight since your procedure the results will be alterted and you will still have fullness in the area. I would suggest you talk to your surgeon about your concerns. Best of luck to you!
