Caring for breast implants - sleeping. Hello, I am one year post breast augmentation and mastopexy. I am very happy with my results, my breasts look very natural. My question is in regard to sleeping. I am a side sleeper and have no trouble sleeping, however a friend of mine had the same procedure and still sleeps in her post surgery bra a year later and only on her back and says side sleeping ruins the implants..? Is this true? Thank you

For your first procedure, you chose implants that wear way too heavy for your tissue and frame. If you choose implants more appropriate for your frame and place then behind the muscle, you should get nice upper breast fullness. An examination is needed to see if mesh would be advisable.
Hello, for my patients I do not restrict activity after six weeks post op. At that point, the healing has plateaued in most patients, and I allow them to resume all activities that they could have performed preoperatively.
Yes, your implants have bottomed out and give the appearance that your nipples are sitting too high. Your nipples may be in a good position once the implant position and excess skin are addressed.
