I had CoolSculpting on my flanks done yesterday. I am very swollen... almost feels jiggly when I walk... because it is still numb. I am VERY bruised. I’m not in any pain... just sore from bruising. I want to help my body recover so I am drinking lots of water, using arnica, ice for swelling, and a compression garment. I was wondering would cardio help since it increases blood flow or cause the area to swell more? Any healing tips would be appreciated.

Answer: Post Coolsculpting Hello, Thank you for your question and picture. Congratulations on your treatment! Unfortunately cardio will not help the side effects resolve quicker. By the sounds of it, you are doin everything perfectly! Good luck on your results!

Answer: Coolsculpting Aftercare--Add Radiofrequency, Thermage, Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra, VASER, ThermiRF No, this won't necessarily help with side effects. To speed up healing, you can try adding hyperbaric oxygen, lymphatic massage, venus legacy or exilis radiofrequency treatments. For best results with Coolsculpting, a combination approach is needed. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. However, a Vaser with ThermiRF procedure is the best combination for a toned result, but requires more downtime. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
