Thank you for your question. Compression garments are not necessary following a CoolSculpting procedure. That being said, some patients prefer moderate compression as a comfort measure. Best of luck.
Thank you very much for your question, as itis a good one. It is not necessary to wear a compression garment after aCoolSculpting treatment. However, a compression garment can be extremely beneficialat helping to keep swelling down during the recovery. Additionally, manypatients find that a compression garment provides comfort during the initial CoolSculptinghealing. I recommend discussing your use of a surgical compression garment withyour CoolSculpting provider, as he/she knows the most about your treatment andrecovery progression.
Because Coolsculpting is a non invasive treatment it does not require you to wear any compression garments after the procedure. Some patients like wearing them for comfort, however it is not necessary. Best of luck!
Thank you for question.Compression garment such as spanx and yoga pants may feel good to wear after treatment however its not a required to wear after Coolsculpting treatment. I recommend you schedule a consultation with a certified plastic surgeon for information on Coolsculpting. Best of Luck.Andrew Lyos, MD, FACS
Thanks for your question! If compression makes you feel more comfortable following the procedure, then feel free! It can also help with some of the swelling. However, it is not necessary to wear compression after CoolSculpting. Enjoy your results!
Compression can help with swelling. It can take up to 6 months for final results. To speed up healing, you can try adding hyperbaric oxygen, lymphatic massage, venus legacy or exilis radiofrequency treatments. For best results with Coolsculpting, a combination approach is needed. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. However, a Vaser with ThermiRF procedure is the best combination for a toned result, but requires more downtime. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Hello,Thank you for your question and congratulations on your treatment. Compression is not a requirement for your CoolSculpting treatment. However, some find that it will ease some of the discomfort, so it's completely ok for you to wear it, but not necessary. Good luck!
We don't find that compression improves the results but some patients will wear this because it makes them feel better so they will wear it for the 1st week. We do recommend that patients do a gentle massage of the treated area 3 times per day for the 1st week to help the body's own drainage system.
Thank you for your question. Wearing a compression garment after Coolsculpting treatment is not required as it is a noninvasive treatment. However, some patients like wearing them for comfort. Best of Luck!
You do not have to use compression garments after CoolSculpting by any means. However, many patients do find that using some type of compression helps in terms of overall comfort, and continuing with normal, routine activities, particularly exercise, or anything where there is a bounce, impact or jolt. It can help provide support, protection, and help reduce any swelling you may experience. Their use can only help you, and will not hinder results in any way.
Thank you very much for your question. CoolSculpting is a wonderful option for patients looking to decrease areas of isolated fat. From your information, it sounds like you might make a good candidate for the noninvasive treatment. The ideal patient will be in overall good health,...
Thank you for your question. There has not been a study that shows the effects of Coolsculpting on the liver. Therefore, I recommend getting approval prior to treatment from your doctor. Best of Luck!
If you just had coolsculpting, i would not use heat. after any procedure which injures tissue there is a period of inflammation and swelling. using heat increases the swelling and inflammation and may actually cause more pain and slow down your healing
