I saw Dr Annie For weight loss and cool sculpting. What a fabulous experience.
First the weight loss- I chose the shakes and whole foods plan. Easy, no brainer. The best part of the program besides Dr Annie's lovely presence at every check-in, was the InBody scale. I'm not kidding. I loathe the scale, ignore it as much as I can. But the InBody scale measures not just your overall weight, but muscle mass, water, fat etc. The bonus in this is that for the first time I realized I carry 65lbs of just muscle mass, which means that fantasy goal weight in my head was really unrealistic unless I wanted to look like skin, bone and hard muscle- not a look I was aiming for. I was able to set a realistic goal weight. Those weeks when my home scale did not show any weight loss, I was able to check in at the office and see that I was down 2 lbs of fat and carrying extra water elsewhere. PHEW!!! Fat loss was/is my goal. Instead of being frustrated I was able to begin to trust my body.....the biggest part of my weight loss success.
By the time I hit goal weight, I found I still had a stubborn thigh area that did not want to leave on it's own. So I chose targeted cool sculpting. Just one session and those stubborn spots are fading away- though I also understand my thighs are what they are and are never going to look like a super model no matter what I do.
Over all my experience in this office was top notch. Everyone in the office is absolutely lovely and welcoming.

I highly recommend Dr. Gartner and her staff for weight loss and nutritional guidance. I work in healthcare and am often sceptical of programs that advertise rapid results and demand extreme changes in diet as they are often unrealistic in the long term. What I love about Dr. Gartner's program is that it focuses on eating healthy, whole foods as a lifestyle rather than a one time crash-course. I have permanently adopted her diet to loose and maintain weight and to supplement my training for long distance running competitions. I have also noticed an improvement in my clarity of mind and energy levels since reducing my carbohydrate intake. After I reached my target weight (34% body fat to 24% in just 2 months!!), Dr. Gartner worked with me on the phone, via email, and in person to discuss how I could maintain my weight while exercising.

Dr. Gartner and her staff (especially Crystal!) are always incredibly friendly and will always remember who you are and how your program is uniquely tailored to you.

I began seeing Dr. Gartner over three years ago for my weight and overall nutritional help. Within the first three months, I was close to my goal weight without feeling deprived. She taught me how to eat, not what to eat. She made me the champion of my success, not a slave to any particular regiment. I am on a maintenance program and even had some Cool Sculpting done. That was a great decision and am considering more! All in all, Dr. Gartner, Lindsay and the rest of the staff there are just amazing people and are solely focused on helping you reach your goals.
