Based on my expertise of doing these on over 100 lesions with no scar I could only tell you to choose a doctor that actually knows and has experience in treating this particular condition.  

It is impossible to know what the lump on your chin is without examining you.  Once it is determined what the lump is, the treatment options could be discussed.  I would consult with a facial plastic surgeon or plastic surgeon.
