Dimply stomach skin as result of CoolSculpting? What do I do to correct this?

I had 3 cool sculpting treatments to both my upper and lower abdomen with the large paddles approx 2 years ago. At this time my abdomen appears dimply and looks like cellulite (only where coolsculpting performed. Is this common? I am 5 ft 2 inches 125 pounds. What are my options at this point to correct?

A combination approach with other non-invasive treatments is needed to get good results with Coolsculpting. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. However, a Vaser with ThermiRF procedure is the best combination for a toned and smooth result, but requires more downtime. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Hi.  Dimpling isn't a common issue after coolsculpting.  Could you please post some pre- and post- treatment photos?  If there is some pre-existing laxity, fat reduction, whether it comes from CoolSculpting or liposuction, could potentially give the appearance of worsening of the laxity afterwards.

Without seeing photos, it is hard to tell what the problem is. CoolSculpting does not cause dimpling, but it can potentially cause an indentation if it was placed improperly. If this is the issue, it can be solved by treating the surrounding area to make it more even. Best of luck!

In my experience Coolsculpting does not cause dimpling or cellulite in the tissue treated. Could you post before and after photos?
I recommend reaching out to the office that did your treatment or another certified practice and having them examine the area.

Do you have your before photos to compare? Sometimes people forget that if they have any textural changes to the skin they may have been present prior to the treatment.
