Infection after getting mole removed? (photos)

Question

I got a me removed about a week ago and it began to scab but the scab has now fallen off and it is essentially and open wound. It is bleeding and around the removed area it is swollen and very itchy.

In my practice, I always want to see my patients if they have questions or concerns. I recommend you follow up with the doctor who performed the procedure and they will best at taking a look at how you're healing. 
When in doubt, follow up, is always my advice.

You should have not allowed a scab to form and should have been told to apply something to keep the area moist, like Vaseline, Polysporin, Aquaphor, etc. after cleaning away crusts and scabs regularly. While the site doesn't look infected to me, it does look like it's not healing ideally and may leave a divet or mark. You should keep the area well gooped up and can start doing that now to help as much as possible. If the site worsens, you should see the treating physician.
