Thank you for sharing your question and I am sorry to hear of your lip swelling issues. I do not think that the Botox likely contributed to your lip swelling and more likely some other irritatant resulted in the swelling. I would look into any changes to your lipstick, lip balm, spicy foods, etc that may have been the cause. Hope this helps.
It is highly unlikely that your Botox treatment had anything to do with the swelling of your lip. I'm glad to hear the swelling is improving, but the cause would not be related to the injections between your brows.
There is no way that the Botox you had injected caused the swelling of your upper lip. Although the cause of the sweling will likely never be known, what is important is that the swelling is decreasing.
If there was no injury to your lip, chances are you had some kind of an allergic reaction to a product other than Botox. This may have been either new lipstick or food that you have come in contact with. Good luck from New York City
Thank you for your question. Based on your history it is highly unlikely that the lip swelling you encountered had anything to do with the Botox you received to your glabella eight days prior. It was more likely due to an allergic reaction to something else.
Thank you for your question. Based on the sequence of events you described, it is highly unlikely that there is any correlation between the swelling of your lips and your glabella Botox 8 days prior. The lip swelling can have been caused by a multitude of other things including an allergic reaction to a food, gym, lipstick, chapstick, or even toothpaste. Glad everything is resolved. Hi. Thank you for your question. Allergic teactions to botox are fairly uncommon. Most likely you upper lip sweeling was a result of an allergic reaction to something else you may have eaten or placed or your lips. However, if it happens again, you may look into what your injector is using to reconstitute the botox, such as preservative in the saline. Best of luck
Hello, and thank you for your question. This seems like a typical dose for your age, especially if all three areas were treated. Also, the Botox will not cause sunken areas under your eyes.
I tell my patients to take the night off from doing strenuous exercise. The next day they’re free to do whatever they want. I have not seen Botox spread after the first night, so you’re safe to do whatever you want the next day
Botox cannot change the width of the nose. It can be used to treat lines and wrinkles associated with "bunny lines" (lines across the bridge) and the nasal flare (lines on the top side of the nose made with certain facial movements). I would recommend that you go to experienced cosmetic s...
Hello and thank you for your question. There are a few things that could be happening here. I suppose it's possible that the inejctor may have hit the zygomaticus muscle instead of the obicularis oculi (the cheek muscle instead of the eye muscle). In this case you it would explain the he...
Tightening of the skin with Fractora RF is easy and noticeable. If you've wasted money on thermage or ultherapy, then you will be pleased to see something that actually works. It is Fractora RF and is so worth tightening up those saggy skin areas.
