Going on vacation in 1 week and wondering if it is ok to have sun exposure (laying out by pool)? Is it ok to use spray or lotion sunscreen on top of forehead over transplanted folicles?

Thank you for your question. Yes, you are at a safe point for sun exposure but I would suggest wearing a lightweight hat, other coverup material and remaining in the shade for as long as possible. Continue with the advice you have received from your board certified facial plastic surgeon.Best wishes,

After your wound has healed sun exposure should be fine.  Always use sunscreen when possible.  If you're not sure contact your doctor.

3 months you're probably safe. Sunscreen wouldn't hurt but I doubt it's any more necessary to put sunscreen on your scalp that it is to put it anywhere else. At this point your hair and the skin around it are just like regular areas of your scalp.

Yes, at 3 months you can do what you want. I always tell people to keep using protection from the sun with a skin blocker or a hat
