I had a FUT procedure (1800 grafts) 3 months ago. Is it OK at this point for sun exposure? (Photos)

Going on vacation in 1 week and wondering if it is ok to have sun exposure (laying out by pool)? Is it ok to use spray or lotion sunscreen on top of forehead over transplanted folicles?

Yes an FUE can be performed and the scars can be transplanted. You will need to see a hair restoration professional to see the amount you need.

Thank you for your question. You are allowed to pull out your grafts after the 9-day (rule-of-thumb) mark. I prefer to allow the grafts to fall out naturally. Always consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon.Best wishes,

Thank you for your question. It is good to gently massage your scalp with your fingers. As long as you are gentle, you will not harm any grafts. I suggest that you consult with your board certified facial plastic surgeon for an in-person demonstration on cleaning/caring for your scalp.Best wishes,
