Removal of fat above eyelid? I have a very strong forehead and somewhat hooded eyes but im not sure what procedure would flatten my eyebrow area so it no longer sticks out over my eyes and causes them to look deep-set in my face.. or is it a forehead procedure?

Answer: Forehead lift Your lateral picture shows low eyebrow, and this can be improved by endoforehead lift. The scar would be in the hair.

Answer: Treatment options for bossing of the eyebrows The treatment for this usually involves reduction of the frontal bone to reduce the bossing of the eyebrows. This is typically done with an incision across the scalp, lifting the forehead forward to get access. The recovery is very similar to having a brow lift. In fact, a brow lift could be done at the same time and bone reduction is sometimes done in conjunction with brow lift surgery. This procedure is fairly common in feminizing surgery, especially for the trans community when men want to look more feminine. It can also help women get a more balanced, attractive and feminine look. I suggest consulting with plastic surgeons in your community. You may want to look for plastic surgeons were involved in gender, reassignment surgery, especially those who have experience with the feminization of male individuals since this is a fairly common procedure in that community. Some plastic surgeons may not have experience doing the procedure while others will so see what each provider has to say. I generally recommend patient’s schedule in person consultations whenever possible avoiding virtual consultations. I generally recommend having multiple consultations before selecting a provider. Bring pictures of yourself the same way plastic surgeons take before and after pictures. Use pictures of yourself as a reference, especially when reviewing before, and after pictures. During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of previous patients who had similar facial features or characteristics. Facial aesthetics is primarily determined by facial bone structure. Soft tissue coverage tends to be much more consistent from person to person and it is facial skeletal structure that gives each person their individual look and appearance whether desirable or not so much. I don’t think there are any simple soft tissues solutions to address this problem. The procedure may sound invasive and complex. The surgery is actually fairly straightforward with a fairly easy recovery. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
