Has anyone heard of a peel that leaves your face yellow?

My friend is having a peel in 1 week, I will document this for Real Self. She is going to an reputable Doctor but he warned her her face may be yellow for 1 to 2 days. Whats up with that? I have heard of blue but never yellow. Can anyone give me any information please.
