Melanage peel without post treatment products?

Question

I had a very cheap melanage peel but I guess the trade off is that I was not given the post treatment products. Can someone help me out and tell me what are the products about? I have hydroquinone 8% and retin A at home, can i use these? thank you so much

We recommend patients to only use moisturizer and sunscreen following a peel. We never recommend using hydroquinone or retin A before or after a peel treatment. It is very important to keep the area moist until the outer layer of skin has regenerated. And always watch for symptoms of infection and cold sores as these can cause scarring if not treated appropriately.
