I had 1/2 syringe of restalyne kiss put in my lips last August. Within the past 2 months I had tried to dissolve it twice with hyaluronidase. The lump has gone down a bit but is still there and is very annoying. I’m wondering what I should do now to make it go away completely?
Answer: Hyaluronidase Hi @brookedemps. I am sorry for your frustrations. You may have to add more Hyaluronidase to completely dissolve the lump. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!

Answer: Lumps after Lip Fillers--reverse with hyaluronidase This needs an in-person evaluation. I recommend following up with a cosmetic dermatologist. If this is filler, it can be reversed with hyaluronidase. Hope this helps.

Answer: Lip Fillers (Restalyne Silk, Juvaderm) -- Reverse with Hyaluronidase I suggest reversing the filler and having it re-injected with a different filler/technique. Often, it can take multiple sessions of hyaluronidase in order to eliminate stubborn lumps. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Dissolving Unwanted Filler Lumps May Sometimes Require More Than Simple Hyaluronidase I'm really sorry you are going through this. In most cases, Restylane Kiss should be responsive to dissolution by hyaluronidase. Possible explanations for the lack of success with the enzyme in your case might have been the use of insufficient amounts and/or the injection of too dilute concentrations of the material. In the event that appropriate concentrations and amounts were used each time, other possible methods for hastening breakup and dissolution might include the injection of saline solution accompanied by subcision to break up the lump and make it more receptive to dissolution and/or the injection of an anti-inflammatory agent, in the event that inflammation and granuloma formation are playing a role and possibly an oral antibiotic, if biofilm formation is believed to be involved. You would do well to make sure that you are consulting with a board certified aesthetic physician before proceeding. Good luck to you.

Answer: How to make lump from lip filler go away? Had Restylane Kiss placed a year ago in my lips If you have a lump from lip filler that has persisted for a year, it’s essential to consult with a medical professional, preferably the provider who administered the filler. They can evaluate the lump and recommend appropriate treatment options, which may include massage, hyaluronidase injection to dissolve the filler, or other procedures to address the issue safely. Do not attempt to resolve it on your own as it could lead to complications.
