My implants are lopsided after pregnancy. Will a different sized implant help restore them? (Photo)

Thank you for your question and photos. Pregnancy can cause unpredictable changes to your breasts. Without seeing previous photos or performing a physical exam it is difficult to tell you exactly what is going on. Your current implants will not have changed size, however, it is possible as you stated that the pocket may have changed. The overlying breast tissue may also have changed, with one now being larger than the other. It is very common for augmented breasts to appear different after pregnancy and breastfeeding, and this may have to do with either the implant or the breast tissue itself.  It is very difficult to tell exactly what is going on with your breasts from these images, therefore, it will be very difficult to make any good suggestions.  This is something that really needs to be evaluated in person by an experienced board certified plastic surgeon.  There may be a need to change or reposition implants, or simply to adjust the capsule, but this will all have to be determined by a personal consultation.  Good luck.

Breasts will definitely change after pregnancy.  The degree of change is dependent on multiple factors including weight gain, breast feeding and genetics.  If you are unhappy with your breasts and if you have completely stopped breast feeding get an evaluation by a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss options.  Good Luck!

are common but I have trouble appreciating just what your concerns are from your photos.  Its best to see your surgeon or another board certified plastic surgeon for an evaluation and exam and to get options for you from which you can choose.  Breast feeding should be stopped for 3 months if going through an IMF approach and 6 months if going through the nipple.

From your photos, it does appear that you have some breast asymmetry after your pregnancy. However, this needs to be compared to your pre-op photos. You do have one breast that has developed a "double bubble" that will need revision surgery to correct. Be sure to find a board-certified expert in revision breast surgery before you proceed.

It is very common for your breasts to change shape and need a revision after pregnancy.  You need to go back to your plastic surgeon if possible who can advise you on what is needed.  It is usually either larger implants or a lift or both.  Hope this helps.
