Is this severe hair loss for a 65 year old man? Never used fin, minox or prp. Can a transplant make my hair full again?

It is hard to tell just from looking at some photos, it looks like a diffuse pattern of male baldness but will need to examine in person and discuss specific treatments for each condition.

This would not be considered severe hair loss, no. That doesn’t mean that it doesn’t feel severe to a given person but based on all the scales for assessing hair loss that we have this would not be considered severe. You have fabulous hair for hair transplantation if that’s something you’d like to explore. Males with “salt and pepper” type hair often have really nice outcomes. Choose your surgeon wisely and you’ll like be quite pleased. You might not return to precisely the same density you had 30 years ago but you’d likely have nice coverage and a terrific result. I am assuming here that there is no other diagnosis hiding and that androgenetic alopecia is the only diagnosis. Your surgeon can confirm this at your appointment.

Start with a treatment to see how much can you improve the thinning and then Proceed with a hair transplant, the better results the less grafts that you will need for a transplant at the end
