Would 2 weeks of drinking affect my Hair Transplant results even tho I stopped a week before surgery?

There are no definitive studies that I am aware of how long you should stop drinking before the procedure. We often tell our patients to refrain from drinking after because that can increase swelling and also cause inadvertent trauma from being drunk etc. Best is to talk to your hair transplant physician to figure out the best course forward.

It’s a good idea to run this scenario by your surgeon. Depending on your age and symptoms (abdominal pain, etc) you surgeon may or may not want to get some new lab tests. Most likely labs won’t be needed.
The reality is that for most people with this story, stopping one week before won’t create issues. But be sure to review with your doctors. The concern is bleeding. Excessive and long term alcohol can affect bleeding risks - so that’s a main concern here that your surgeons will be contemplating. For the most part, stopping a week before will not create problems for most.
