Swelling after under eye vein removal?

Hard to comment without any pictures but most likely its swelling after laser treatment and should start settling down after 72 hrs.

Post under eye treatments with laser, sclerotherapy or removal through micro incisions under eye swelling in very common and is due to tissue irritation from the treatment.  The swelling and bruising may take 2 to 4 weeks to resolve.

The laser treatment of a vein results in a thermal injury to the vein wall and the surrounding area. It is very common to have some mild swelling for a few days. If it does not resolve quickly, contact your doctor.

 Swelling/ edema is very common after laser procedure and should subside within a short period of time. However, I recommend to re-evaluate area by doing a follow up with your medical provider. Thank you for your question!
