How can you reverse the aftermath of removing dorsal hump?

If your surgery occurred a month ago, it is too early to determine what your final outcome may be but pictures might help.  It is best to wait at least a year for swelling to reduce and scar contracture to know the final appearance of your nose.  If you still have a wide nose and uneven alar retraction after 12 months, you may require revision surgery.  Dorsal augmentation can be appropriate to rebuild an over-resected hump and there are a variety of techniques to create more symmetry and reduce retraction of the ala.  I recommend you have a formal consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon or facial plastic surgeon who is experienced in revision rhinoplasty surgery.

A revision rhinoplasty can be done after 9- 12 months to let swelling dissipate. It is impossible to give an informed answer without an examination or photos.
