but you must make sure you understand everything that will happen from this.  If your upper areola on the right needs to come off, your areola will be elevated more... can your mounds handle that?  For the left side, once you are healed and your skin relaxes, it can be excised and the incisions closed again.  But you should wait at least 6 months from your procedure to even consider this.  An exam would help considerably in making recommendations and ideally, if your shape is awesome, could you ever learn to live with that?  If so, that would be the best option as it doesn't cost anything and there is no risk.

This commonly happens after a breast lift if the areola is extremely large to start with. Recommendations are: 1. Allow the scars to heal (5-7 months) 2. A small vertical tightening of the breast beneath the areola will remove the excess darkened skin.  This is done under a local anesthetic with minimal downtime.  I am sure your surgeon will be able to do this for you.  Good Luck
