Combining surgical procedures is commonly done so the patient has one surgery and one down time, as most patients can not take infinite time away from work or their families.A thigh lift, arm lift and breast lift at the same time is a bit too much surgery at once. A thigh lift is commonly performed by it self. The arm lift and breast lift could be combined depending on the extent of the procedures required.I would recommend you see a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options further.Hope that helps.
Thank you for your question about whether it’s possible to undergo a thigh lift, arm lift, and breast lift without implants at the same time? Your chosen plastic surgeon can best answer this question. Your plastic surgeon selected should be experienced in performing multiple procedures in a single surgical setting. If they are comfortable with the procedure and you are medically cleared and healthy, it is possible to undergo these combined procedures. I have done these combined procedures. However, I do not suggest combining the thigh lift with the arm lift. Even though the procedures can be technically combined, the recovery can be challenging. You must imagine if you were in bed and needed to go to the bathroom. You will need your arms to pull yourself out of bed; however, your arms will hurt because you had arm surgery. You will then need to use your legs to ambulate to the bathroom. The legs will hurt because you just had thigh surgery. Then, you will need your arms to pull your garments off your lower body to sit on the toilet. This will hurt. Then you will need to use your legs to sit on the toilet. This again will hurt because your thighs had surgery. Then you will need your arms to clean yourself after using the bathroom; this will hurt again because your arms had surgery. Then you will need your arms to pull the garment back on and get yourself back to bed using your arms and legs. Therefore, in my opinion, even though these procedures can be combined, they shouldn’t because the recovery is too difficult for the patients. If you wish, I can have you talk to patients who have combined these procedures, which, in retrospect, would have preferred staging the systems. I hope this helps answer the question regarding whether you should incorporate a thigh lift, arm lift, and breast lift simultaneously. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen. Dear kongaydra,I understand your concern. It is best however that you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine whether you can have several aesthetic surgeries in one session, as this would depend on various factors including but not limited to your general health condition, the type of anesthesia that will be used, and the type of surgeries that will be performed among others.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Thank you for your question: Is it possible to get a Thigh Lift without forming a keloid scar? The key to all plastic surgery is to minimize tension on the scars. When I perform thigh lifts, I perform thigh liposuction, perform wide-undermining, and close the wound with six layers of sutures. I...
