Is it normal for my breasts to feel numb all over?

I got my BA done on the 29th and everything went well. They seem to be healing great but today they started to feel numb so I took the bra off my doctor told me I had to wear for 6 weeks. My arms feel numb too!!

It is not unusual to have some post op numbness after surgery. This is especially true near incisions. However, it sounds like you did not have numbness for several days and now you do. If true you need to see your surgeon to make sure all is well. Good luck.

You should see your plastic surgeon for an evaluation. Since the numbness started after surgery, it is likely due to swelling. Numbness of the arms can be related to swelling after an IV or blood pressure cuff or bandeau that is too tight, but you need to see your surgeon to be sure nothing more serious is going on.

after augmentation surgery and you should see your surgeon to be evaluated,  If the numbness is transient and comes and goes, its probably nothing but if it isn't resolving, still requires that you see your surgeon.  There are a few reasons you could have some arm numbness from surgery but they are all self limiting.

Postoperative sensory changes are not uncommon and usually steadilyimprove. Any new alterations in sensation, especially if they extend beyond the operative site, should be carefully evaluated by your surgeon. Sometimes nerves can be irritated by clothing, swelling, or other issues which should be promptly addressed. Most of these issues can be easily remedied.

Greetings,Perhaps your numb breasts and arms are related to the garment you were wearing (if you were very swollen and the bra was too tight), however, you should contact your surgeon for an evaluation now...Some numbness can occur right after your surgery. Thank you for your question.  Patchy areas of numbness are common after breast augmentation.  However your description that your breasts are numb all over and that your arms are numb requires an examination by your plastic surgeon. Please contact your plastic surgeon for an examination and diagnosis.
