I have 2 questions. So my PS told me to lay on my breast for 5 mins everyday. I just want a 2nd opinion on this. The thought of this makes me feel not right. But she said, it's to keep them soft. I thought that's what massaging is for. I went under the muscle 500 cc hp. And is it normal to feel like you can't stretch ur arm to far without feeling the boob muscle pulling back a bit.. I feel that uncomfortable feeling on my left side when I stretch. I'm 4 weeks today. Thank you
Answer: Breast Implants and How to Keep Them Soft Personally I recommend that my patients massage their breasts. Your plastic surgeon is probably recommending lying on your breasts to try to keep the pocket expanded. You could ask her if massage would be a reasonable substitute. There may be a reason she doesn't want you to massage. When I discuss massage, I tell my patients to visualize moving the implants around in their pockets to remind the capsules to stay larger than the implants themselves. There are some good how-to videos on YouTube. It is normal to feel the pull of the muscle. This will improve with time as your muscle accommodates to the implant.Click on the link below--you can almost feel how soft those implants are, they sit so relaxed in their pockets. All the best.
