I got a BBL and my hips are so giant, I hate them. I am 5 days post op and I love by butt it has a very nice shape but my hips are so so wide and that was not what I was going for at all. I am so worried that they stay the same forever if that happens I am going to try and lose all the weight I can because I wanted a natural look not the fake Kardashian’s look the last photo is photoshopped to see that in the second picture is the results I want please doctors help me and tell me the truth and what can I do to reduce them? Thank so much.

Answer: Post BBL Hello, You are only 5 days post op.... give it time. You need to give your body time to heal. You more than likely still have swelling in the area. Continue wearing your compression garments and follow your physicians instructions. If something concerns you, contact your physicians office. Don't do any exercises or anything yet to try to minimize your hips just yet. Once you are six months out, if you are still not happy, your doctor can remove some fat and sculpt the area. Answer: What can I do to reduce my hips after a BBL? (Photos) As the swelling goes down, your shape will change. For most of my patients, I tell them that at 6 weeks there is still a great deal of swelling in the abdomen, sides, and back (or wherever the liposuction was performed); and they will only look better in 6 months. About 50% of the fat that is transferred lives and becomes a part of you. This will hold stable as long as there is no weight fluctuation.
