Thank you for posting this question. The simple answer is that strong winds are not going to disrupt implanted hair follicles 3 days after implantation. I hope this information is helpful to you.Ken Anderson, MD, FISHRS, ABHRSBoard Certified Hair Restoration Surgeon
Unless you were walking through an F4 storm your grafts should be fine! As long as nothing hit your head or a hat wasn’t forcibly blown off you should be fine.
At 3 days post-op, the blood will become scab and the graft is more difficult to fall out because of strong wind. So, it shouldn't be a problem.
Hello, good question. I understand your concern but walking in strong wind will not do any damage to your transplanted area. No worries.
It is unlikely that even a strong wind can hurt your transplanted hair 3 days into it. However, I suggest you avoid anything that you may feel harmful to your hair within the first 4 days. Day 5 and after you can resume all your activities nad treat the new hair as you treat the hair in other areas.
The grafts should be secure within the first day after a hair transplant so that a strong wind should not impact the graft safety
Hi, I don't think you have anything to worry about, a little rain isn't going to harm your transplant results.
Shampooing at 2 weeks after the procedure is alright. Do it gently with fingertips without using nails. The scabs ideally should come off by 10days post hair transplant. After this the scabs start getting firmly attached to the skin which is no good. As far as the graft dislodgement is...
Do not pick at those scabs or you risk disrupting the grafts. It will eventually resolve. You could dab a little hydrogen peroxide to get rid of the dried blood.
