Thank you for posting this question. The simple answer is that strong winds are not going to disrupt implanted hair follicles 3 days after implantation. I hope this information is helpful to you.Ken Anderson, MD, FISHRS, ABHRSBoard Certified Hair Restoration Surgeon
Unless you were walking through an F4 storm your grafts should be fine! As long as nothing hit your head or a hat wasn’t forcibly blown off you should be fine.
At 3 days post-op, the blood will become scab and the graft is more difficult to fall out because of strong wind. So, it shouldn't be a problem.
Hello, good question. I understand your concern but walking in strong wind will not do any damage to your transplanted area. No worries.
It is unlikely that even a strong wind can hurt your transplanted hair 3 days into it. However, I suggest you avoid anything that you may feel harmful to your hair within the first 4 days. Day 5 and after you can resume all your activities nad treat the new hair as you treat the hair in other areas.
The grafts should be secure within the first day after a hair transplant so that a strong wind should not impact the graft safety
Come back some other day... No, you're probably fine. A little rain never hurt a hair transplant as far as I know. Sleet on the other hand...
It is unlikely that you will dislodge grafts at two weeks by a gentle scrub. Just be sure to use the tips of your fingers (not fingernails), and avoid anything sharp contacting the grafts.
Exposing your head to sun after the operation is not healthy for the transplanted hair. Use your supplements and make sure you wear a hat next time.
Thanks for your question. Intermittent fasting has become a very popular weight maintenance strategy. Many of my plastic surgery patients adhere to this eating regimine. It has no impact on healing as long as you are ingesting adequate calories and nutrients when you do eat.
