come back some other day... No, you're probably fine. A little rain never hurt a hair transplant as far as I know. Sleet on the other hand...
Unless it was a very torrential downpour you experienced, you should be fine. The grafts are usually pretty well sealed into place by 24 hours after the procedure.
Hi, I don't think you have anything to worry about, a little rain isn't going to harm your transplant results.
So long as you didn't do anything more aggressive than gently blot the water this shouldn't be a problem.
Many hair transplant surgeons recommend a spray to be used on the transplanted hair post operatively so getting the grafted area a bit wet with rain water will not be a problem. There is no evidence to confirm what is the best spray to use with some doctors recommending just saline and others recommending copper containing solutions or ATP (adenosinetriphosphate) amongst others.
The recipient area is sealed by the day after the surgery and I generally recommend washing this area with shampoo and water so rain water will not harm you
Shampooing at 2 weeks after the procedure is alright. Do it gently with fingertips without using nails. The scabs ideally should come off by 10days post hair transplant. After this the scabs start getting firmly attached to the skin which is no good. As far as the graft dislodgement is...
Do not pick at those scabs or you risk disrupting the grafts. It will eventually resolve. You could dab a little hydrogen peroxide to get rid of the dried blood.
Exposing your head to sun after the operation is not healthy for the transplanted hair. Use your supplements and make sure you wear a hat next time.
