Is it okay to take diurex 15 days after a tummy tuck? (photo)

With post-op medications, it is always best to discuss this with your plastic surgeon or even your regular doctor who prescribes the Diurex medication for you. I do not think it will compromise your overall results, but you want to make sure your medications do not have any interactions.Hope this helps!

It's great to hear that your recovery is progressing! Any post-op swelling is fairly normal at this point and will gradually resolve over the course of the next few months. As for your question, it is best to address it with your plastic surgeon. Some physicians recommend a more conservative approach to recovery that calls for plenty of rest, abundant hydration, and good nutrition as opposed to diuretics. The possibility of adverse interaction with other drugs should be taken into account as well. 
An in-person exam with a board-certified plastic surgeon would be the best way to assess your needs and obtain expert medical advice. Best of luck!

Hello dear!Thanks for the question and provided information as well.I personally don't recommend the diuretics, because it can cause you a decompensation in your body system and interrupting the healing process.You should ask directly to your plastic surgeon and follow the instructions.Good luck and hope this could help :)
