Difference between Vollure and Volbella fillers?

Question

what is the diffrence between Vollure and Volbella fillers? I was recommended by doctor to use them for the fine line next to my mouth and teardrops area... iam 31 old and start to have some hollwness under my eye and fine -line in my nasolabial .

Thanks for your question. Volbella and Vollure are part of the Vycross family of fillers through Allergan. Volbella is injected more superficially and we typically use this filler in the under eye hollows and in the upper lip lines of the mouth. Vollure can be injected superficially or at a medium depth and is best used in the folds around the mouth and in the pink part of the lips for volume and pout. Best of luck with your treatments!

Vollure and Volbella are the two newest members of the Juvederm family of fillers.  Both utilize Vycross technology offering more elasticity and longer duration.  I prefer Volbella for patients who are more interested in smoothing the fine lines around the lips and only want to subtly define their lips and not necessarily enlarge them.  Volbella is a better product for volumizing and contouring the lips in a natural way.

Both of these filler are new, and part of Allergan's Vycross family of fillers, which tend to last longer.  Volbella can be used more superficially than Vollure and is my goto filler for filling fine lines and under eye correction.

Hi,Good question!  Both are made by Allergan and are newer hyaluronic acid fillers.  Vollure is FDA approved for 18 months and Volbella is approved for 12 months.  They are softer fillers so they tend to have a more natural look.  Vollure is placed at the same depth as Juvederm and Volbella is very superficial.Warmly,Dr. Grace Liu
