In August 2018, my neck was terribly disfigured by hematoma/scar tissue (it is soft tissue). What should be done? (photo)

Unfortunately, complications from hematoma may present this way. Based on current photos, I would consider revision of face and neck surgery with complete release of neck skin, possibly platysma bands revision and skin excision in front and behind ears. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon with good reputation in facial rejuvenation is recommended. Good luck.

It is unfortunate that this happened. If you have consulted with your surgeon and need to move on then consultations would be helpful. I would re-do you procedure and make sure this does not happen again. A lower face/neck lift under local with a little iv sedation would do just fine to fix it up nice and neetly.

It will require additional surgery to release any scar tissue and redrape your neck skin, but a good outcome can be expected. Seek out an experienced surgeon and obtain a consultation. First- It would be helpful to know the cause of hematoma in this area. Based on limited photos- a full check and neck lift separating all of the retracted and swollen areas - will be helpful. It may not be completely corrected but should be noticeable better - in the right hands

You have two options for neck contour improvement. One option is to fully release the neck skin through a lower facelift approach and redistribute the released skin and work out the excess back towards the ears. This would be the most common approach. The alternative option is a direct necklift where the contracted skin is removed directly. While this would be very effective and less invasive, it will result ins a fine line scar down the center of the neck.

Discuss your options with your surgeon.  To get the best result, your surgeon may need to go through the lower face/ neck incisions, free up the skin and re-drape it for a smoother neck.  I agree with you that a revision will be needed.
