Asymmetrical face. Can it be fixed with filler? (Photo)

Hi and thank you for your question! Every face has some levels of asymmetry and it is part of our natural look and beauty. However if it reaches a level that disturbs you, it can be significantly improved by combined use of filler and botox injections. I recommend that you consult with a physician with high experience in whole face rejuvenation procedures. Yes, symmetry of the face can be improved with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra. Fat or implants are alternatives. Chin augmentation could help create a "v" shape. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Almost everyone has an asymmetrical face. In your case it seems to be very minor, however if it still concerns you, I believe combination of low dose Botox and some fillers should help.

Thanks for sharing your photo and question. Yes, neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport) and dermal fillers can be used to correct facial asymmetries. In your case, the left side of your face has less volume then the right and I think this could be corrected using a biostimulatory filler such as Sculptra Aesthetic. I think chin filler would improve lower face proportion and jawline definition. I recommend you see an experienced injector for an in person consultation and to come up with an appropriate treatment plan. 

Firstly, everyone has asymmetry.  One of the first line treatments to assist with symmetry is botox/dysport.  It is not really all about wrinkle reduction, but elevating and correcting asymmetry based on where you relax the muscle and how much product you use (you can elevate one brow more than the other, etc).  Volume correction also helps with correction of asymmetry, especially if it is in an area that Botox or Dysport won't help much.  My preference is to use longer lasting filler, especially in the frame/periphery of the face and the chin.  Typically I will combine Sculptra and Bellafill.  For more of a V shape, Bellafill tends to provide better structure, along with Threads if needed.  Threads for threadlifting are like rebar in concrete- volume/filler is the concrete and the threads are rebar (structural support).  Threads are nice since you can place a different number of threads side-to-side, depending on the degree of the asymmetry and how much lift or contouring someone needs.  Hope this helps!  Cheers,

lost volume in and enhance the appearance of the face.It is difficult to make an assessment without a
formal exam in the office where I can view the skin in multiple angles. However,
I hope the information provided here is useful.A slight amount of asymmetry in the face is normal and studies have shown it to be more attractive than perfectly symmetric faces. Products such as Voluma can restore lost volume to the upper cheeks. In the case of asymmetry, more can be placed on one side than the other for correction. If I had a patient who looked like the person in this photograph I would say she is likely a good candidate for such a treatment and perhaps other treatments. However, I would want to see the entire face in multiple angles.Please consult with a doctor for specific

The success of your treatment depends on accurate diagnosis. The asymmetry may be due to a enlarged masseter the muscle used for closing your jaw. So you need to see a specialist who can access the way your teeth meet and move across each other and the TMJ joint. Any slimming treatment with Botox  for symmetry must not have a negative affect on the way your teeth bite together.
I would not use dermal filler to build out the left side of your face but I would consider some dermal filler in your chin to make your lower face a little longer, I'm also guessing that your chin is small due to the relative position of your jaws and bite.
