I am 28 years old and already seeing tear troughs and fainted nasobial folds . Any benefit or side effect of starting having dermal fillers at an age as early as 28 ?
Answer: Pros and Cons of Starting Fillers Early Hi and thank you for your question! Dark circles under the eyes is pretty common and all ages and I commonly treatment patients in their 20s for this condition. There really is no harm in starting fillers early on as long as you are doing it with a physician who is highly experienced in these procedures. With regard to benefits, you will mostly likely enjoy a rejuvenated and more refreshed look in the years to come as you are replenishing the volume. I have seen patients who have postponed taking care of their volume loss for 20-30 years and by the time they come to see me, it might be too late or they might need several syringes of filler to see good improvements. I have also seen patients who don't do much on the face for years, thinking that when it gets "really bad" they just go and fix everything by a facelift, which is almost never the case because a face lift can't do much with the volume loss which is the real problem here. As long as you work with an experienced physician who focuses on natural looking results, you should be fine. I hope it helps and good luck!

Answer: Starting dermal fillers at an early age Yes, I absolutely believe there are benefits to starting neuromodulators (Botox/Dysport) and dermal fillers at a younger age and we refer to this as primary prevention or early intervention. Botox/Dysport when used in the upper face can prevent etched in lines from forming. Dermal fillers could be used to slow down the volume loss we commonly associate with aging. Certain fillers are particularly good at stimulating collagen production. I also think it is extremely important to start an appropriate antiaging skincare regimen which should include an antioxidant, sun protection, and retinol.

Answer: It might! Hi, Thanks for asking, There are some theories that starting injectables early (dermal fillers and Botox) can prevent the process of aging by different variables. The typical theory focuses on the prevention of skin sagging after starting dermal fillers or the fact that some dermal fillers stimulate collagen making the skin and subcutaneous tissues (tissues beneath the skin)firmer. Lastly, injectables (both dermal fillers and Botox) can help prevent wrinkles becoming permanent in the future. Thanks again!

Answer: Benefits of fillers at an early age Whether you start Botox or fillers at an early age, the benefit is that you will need less injected at a lower cost, and you'll start building collagen for the long term and prevent lines from etching in. Best to see a highly trained physician injector such as a dermatologist for optimal results and safety.
