After using eyelid tape for 6 months, will my saggy lids return to how they were before? (Photo)

Hi there,I am sorry you are having this problem. Certainly skin irritation after eyelid skin tape could cause the sagging. But it sounds like you stopped using the tape for a month.I suppose pulling on the eyelid with the glue could lead to skin stretching. Although it does seem unlikely. I recommend trying a good eyelid skin cream with retinol and giving it time (4-6 months).If that doesn't help you can consider a conservative blepharoplasty (surgery). See a surgeon in your area. Hope this helps!

It does look like a rather dramatic change in your eyelids. You might be allergic to the tape or adhesive. This would make them very puffy. Often, the puffiness will subside, but the skin stays stretched out. I would try using cold compresses and avoid any lotions or potions for a week as well. Then you'll have a good sense how much is from allergies / swelling. Good luck!!

That does appear to be quite a dramatic change leading me to wonder if there may be something else that's causing it.  Is it possible you received Botox for forehead wrinkles that has caused your brows to drop somewhat?
