I got botox on my T zone 6 days ago due to cosmetic reasons and excessive sweating. I feel that it's working on the cosmetic side, however, didn't stop sweating at all. My face still sweats a lot like it did before. So, my questions are: 1- How long should I wait till it stops my excessive sweating? 2- What should I expect? Like, no sweating at all or just less sweating? Thanks a lot!

Answer: Botox/Xeomin/Dysport Results for Excessive Sweating--Takes 1-2 weeks It can take 1-2 weeks for final results with Botox. Sweating can be improved with Botox and/or glycopyrrolate. It may be additional Botox is needed to get the desired results. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Botox Duration Thank you for your questions and post. Botox will typically begin to "kick in" after 4-7 days, but some may see results earlier. The full effect is usually seen after 7-10 days so two weeks after your injections is a great time for a follow-up with your injector if you are not getting the results you desire. Additional injections may be given at 2 weeks if more correction is desired/needed. Botox typically lasts ~ 3 months for most, but for some maybe a bit longer or shorter, and after that it begins to slowly wear off. Dr. Benjamin J.
