Is 325cc of fat from each arm a lot for arm liposuction?

Hello doctors, I just had arm liposuction a few days ago and was wondering if removal of 325cc of fat from each arm is a good amount? I am [pretty] fit; work out 2-3 days/week, eat well; 5'7 150 lb. I know I am only a few days out, and final results can take months; however I'm not sure if this was enough. I think the surgeon hesitated a little because I had moments of pretty bad/stinging pain, but now I wish I just sucked it up. Would love to hear your professional opinion. Thanks so much!

Congratulations on your recent surgery. It's really hard to say what the right amount of fat is without examining you in person. When doing liposuction a surgeon is uses several different factors to determine when enough fat has been removed. Visible and palpable contour as well as skin pinch thickness are all used to decide when the correct amount of fat has been removed. Remember, you're probably quite swollen so your results haven't shown through. The swelling will get significantly better over the next month, but will take an additional eight months to see your final results.

It is not possible to give you an opinion regarding the adequacy of your Liposuction without pictures and without examining you. In my practice, for an otherwise fit individual 325 cc of pure fat from each arm may be adequate. All The Best !

This is difficult to answer without pictures. In addition to the amount of fat removed, the technique is important for getting a good result. Keep in mind, you have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Thanks for the question, the answer is really that everyone is different. I have taken 70cc and 1000cc from arms before so the absolute number is irrelevant what matters is it the right number for you! Time will tell when you see your results, from time to time we need to do an enhancement so don't worry too much about the details!

It is difficult to tell without photos. A surgeon could remove anywhere from 100cc to 1000cc of fat from your arms. I would recommend waiting for swelling to improve, but most importantly you should use Cool Helium Plasma skin tightening with VASER high definition liposuction to achieve optimal results.
